Professional Subscriber Benefits

The complete catalog of courses includes more than 35 continuing education credits for nurses, physicians, and pharmacists, as well as a Basic Certificate in Quality and Safety to reward the completion of 13 foundational modules. A selection of courses have also been approved for Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Part 2 Activity points. Learn more about certificates and CEUs.

Group Subscription Benefits

Institutional faculty and organizational leaders around the world rely on the courses as an easy way to bring essential training to students and staff. Learn more about curriculum integration. When a school or organization purchases a group subscription, a key contact at the organization will gain access to the Open School’s convenient tracking tools.

With the Dashboard, group subscribers can view all the following information at a glance, or select to receive monthly or quarterly reports via email:
  • Overall course completions and continuing education statistics
  • Names and titles of individual course participants
  • Post-lesson assessment scores
  • Course and lesson start and completion dates
  • Ratings and comments from group participants
  • Subscription expiration and renewal information
  • A collection of tools and supplemental resources for designing a custom curriculum

*Individual students, residents, and professors — as well as learners from the Least Developed Countries — may access the online courses for free. Diplomates of some American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) Member Boards may be eligible for a 10% discount; visit the ABMS MOC Directory for a discount code.

**Scholarships are available in cases of financial hardship to offset the costs of the subscription fee. Critical Access Hospitals, National Association of Public Hospital Members, rural hospitals, and those interested in applying for scholarship funding should submit an application.
