Joint Learning Network for Universal Health Coverage Update

Joint Learning Update. Joint Learning Network for Universal Health Coverage; June 2013.

The goal of the Joint Learning Network (JLN) is to help low- and middle-income countries learn from each other as they seek to ensure universal health coverage (UHC) for their citizens. IHI's role in the network is to ensure that quality and safety are properly prioritized, and embedded into system design, as the partnering stakeholders advance their goals. A new report from JLN highlights the network's unique collaborative model, some early results, and innovative tools and approaches co-designed by JLN members to address priority areas such as expanding coverage, utilizing information technology, and improving and/or maintaining quality.
