We will describe key considerations as organizations make the transition to value-based payment.  This will include understanding the elements of value based contracts; finding opportunity in population cost data; leveraging survey, claims, and clinical data to drive performance improvement; assessing upfront capital needs; balancing fee-for-service and total cost of care contracts; and developing new provider compensation formulas.​
