Sometimes, jet lag is worth it. Last week, a few of the Open School team returned home from London after attending the 20th Annual International Forum on Quality and Safety in Healthcare. We connected with more than 100 students, attended some dynamic presentations, and even found a little time to check out some sights. Many schools have helped us get to 100,000 students and residents in the IHI Open School. There are hundreds of Chapters at universities around the world – some with hundreds of members – that are leading the charge. There are a (growing!) number of schools that are integrating our courses and our basic certificate into their curricula. Attendees enjoyed many treats at the 2012 International Forum on Quality Improvement and Safety in Paris. Inspiring keynote speeches. Impressive poster presentations as far as the eye could see.
