​​ JointAccreditationLogo.jpg In support of improving patient care, the Institute for Healthcare Improvement is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

As a result of this program, attendees will be able to:

  • Recognize habits that support quality health care and apply the basic principles for improving them
  • Define ways to reduce suffering and improve health
  • Develop an understanding of how to transform an organization
  • Identify elements for creating a culture of change that will lead to continuous improvement

IHI Forum 2022 Approved Credits and Hours

The 2022 Forum carries continuing education credit for physicians, nurses, pharmacists, quality professionals, healthcare executives, and CPPS recertification. Maximum credits available vary by profession.

Instructions on how to claim credits can be found here

To be eligible for a continuing education certificate, attendees must have selected their sessions in advance and must complete the online evaluation(s) by January 20, 2023. After this period you will be unable to receive a certificate.
