WIHI Retired in March 2020 after 11 Years of Broadcasts

WIHI, a free live audio program, was designed to help dedicated legions of health and health care improvers worldwide keep up with some of the freshest and most robust thinking and strategies for improving health and patient care. The issues may be complex, but the format of WIHI was simple: a 60-minute live program with a host and three to four carefully chosen guests, plus an opportunity for listeners to ask questions and share comments.

Madge-On-Air.jpgHosted and managed by Madge Kaplan, former IHI Director of Communications, WIHI began in 2009 and was originally envisioned by Don Berwick, IHI President Emeritus and Senior Fellow. With a wealth of journalistic experience from her years of health care reporting for public radio, WIHI host Madge Kaplan made important knowledge accessible for broad audiences and created a shared space for lively and enriching discussions.
