Leadership for the Triple Aim

To reach the Triple Aim goals — improve the health of the population; enhance the patient experience of care (including quality, access, and reliability); and reduce, or at least control, the per capita cost of care — a new kind of leadership is needed. This article presents a three-pronged framework to help executives lead quality initiatives and reach these Triple Aim goals.
