Our pediatric floor requires SBAR report at the bedside to include the parents. This is very time-consuming with 4 - 6 patients and report is to be done within 20 minutes. Any ideas.

I am not sure if I can help you but I am curious about the work you are doing as we are just starting on interprofessional care rounds at patient's bedside with family using SBAR. I would love to hear more about how the family and care providers are finding it, although looks like it is taking some time. Have you measured whether it is saving time in the long run with decrease in call bells or calls from other care providers etc.?
