There is a new MSN program sponsored by American Colleges of Nursing (AACN), called Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL). The focus of a CNL is to improve the safety standards and patient care outcome at the microsystem level. This is an innovative approach to enhance patient safety at the bed-side.
