Does anyone "weigh" 3rd available appointment by the size of a physician panel or the # of hours a physician/physician extender works per week? If so, how did you go about measuring? Did you find any significant differences by weighing?
thank you.

Does anyone have thoughts on how to capture third next available appt data in a system where the schedule is only opened up one quarter at a time? In our system, the new schedule won't open until the third month of the existing quarter, so a number of providers will have "no appointments" available.
Is there a way to accurately capture the "no available appointment" status in Third Next Available appointment tracking?

You can use the Improvement Tracker tool on IHI.org to track your data for this measure and trend it over time.
