We are working on this process in our integrated system. It is very challenging and seen as a huge increase to nursing workload. We are also midway through implementing an electronic medical record in the physician practices, once this is complete, we feel it will be an easier process. The biggest complaint is that nearly everyone feels that the forms and processes involve duplicate work. It is difficult, but the alternative is frightening!
