I find it interesting that with the exception of HOB, all of your interventions are driven by physicians. What is the nursing accountability? The literature in support of simple things like hand hygiene and oral care to reduce VAP is significant. Is there an oral care protocol in place that is supported by the literature? What are your compliance rates with hand hygiene? I would be interested in any of this data.
