Attitude is important as it drives behavior. I would argue that the more direct way to measure team member perspectives is to ask about behavior rather than attitude. Doing so will help people focus on specific behaviors; as it stands, you will likely hear a great deal about "bad attitudes" which is not very precise and leaves the person with the "attitude problem" very little to go on to improve their behavior.
