Scientific Symposium

 

​This is an all-day event that takes place in conjunction with the IHI National Forum on Monday, December 9, 2013 in Orlando, Florida, USA. Every year, the Scientific Symposium attracts the very best work in the science of health and health care improvement. The Symposium aims to foster dialog and shared learning among participants. The day features keynote speakers, rapid-fire presentations of peer-reviewed papers, interactive learning sessions, and networking.
 
The 2013 Scientific Symposium will take place at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center in the Sun Ballroom A-B.

 

At this event, attendees will:
  • Share what has been learned from applying scientific methods to health and health care improvement
  • Engage in networking amongst those engaged in exploring scientific methods of health and health care improvement
  • Discuss challenges in applying and disseminating scientific approaches to health and health care improvement
  • Create a common understanding of how to apply and disseminate scientific methods to improving health care

Meet the Editors: Publishing Implementation and Improvement Research session

 

Attendees will hear from a panel of journal editors about the keys to publishing their improvement and implementation research. An interactive question and answer session will follow, providing an opportunity for the audience to engage with the editors.
