Lead Change in Your Organization or Community

Health professionals at all levels are being asked to lead change throughout the organizations and communities in which they work. Although the technical aspects of the transformation are challenging, most managers and leaders report that the cultural aspects present far greater hurdles.

The Institute for Healthcare Improvement's (IHI's) Leadership and Organizing for Change 15-week online course for change agents draws from Harvard Kennedy School’s Marshall Ganz's teachings on leadership, organizing, and action.

Through weekly video lectures, all-learner calls with experts in the field, and support from your peers, you will learn to apply skills and knowledge in leadership and community organizing. During the course, you will be asked to choose a specific project for your organization or your community and then directly apply your learning each week to move your project forward. Review the frequently asked questions about the course for details.
