IHI COVID-19 Vaccination Policy

Policy for In-Person Meetings with Greater than 20 Participants in the US

Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination is required for anyone attending, teaching, or speaking at any IHI conference or program that has any in-person meeting days. Full COVID-19 vaccination is defined as 14 days after the second dose of a two-dose vaccine or 14 days after the first dose of a single dose vaccine.

Approved vaccinations include those recognized by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO).

Negative PCR tests will not be accepted in lieu of vaccination.

Prior to the start date of the IHI conference or program, attendees, speakers, and faculty will receive an email from SafeAccess with a unique link to review health and safety policies, and securely upload any necessary documentation (e.g., proof of vaccination) to the secure portal.

IHI strongly recommends all participants monitor local COVID-19 community levels where any in-person meetings are taking place.

IHI recommends wearing a mask for in-person events and will have them readily available.
