Spend a Week With Us!

Are you intrigued by the Institute for Healthcare Improvement's (IHI's) unique culture, robust mission, and focus on finding new, innovative solutions to intractable health care problems? If so, consider taking the plunge into IHI this summer from July 31
– August 4 in Cambridge, MA.

The week-long IHI Summer Immersion program is a deep dive into the world of IHI and how we carry out our mission of accelerating quality improvement in health care. It's ideal for those passionate about improving patient care in individual organizations and across systems, states, and countries.

This exclusive in-depth experience will provide a small number of participants special access to the thought leaders behind IHI’s strategic goals, operational structures, R&D processes, and upcoming projects.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn about improvement methods directly from IHI experts, and will choose breakout sessions on special topics of interest, including: IHI's work in developing countries, the IHI Triple Aim, new strategies for cost reduction, and IHI's internal functions such as innovation and strategic partners. This unique program will also facilitate networking among participants, who will emerge with a new set of colleagues and long-lasting connections.

Highlights of the program include:

  • Access to, and participation in, IHI internal meetings

  • Quality process and improvement lessons from IHI senior staff and faculty
  • Receptions and networking with IHI staff and fellow attendees
  • Participation in seasonal Boston-based events
