Faculty Network

The efforts of university faculty and other educators around the world have been instrumental to the IHI Open School’s efforts to bring skills in quality improvement, leadership, and patient safety to current and soon-to-be health care professionals. Faculty have used IHI Open School courses to teach quality and safety at more than 1,000 universities, organizations, and hospitals. Many also play a pivotal role as faculty advisors, guiding IHI Open School Chapters as they spread awareness, advocate for curriculum integration, and engage in project-based learning opportunities. To support this group, the IHI Open School offers special resources for educators, whether they are university professors or GME faculty.
