Are you a future health professional who is passionate about improving not just health care, but the health of communities? Are you committed to reducing health inequities?
If you’re this type of change agent, IHI’s 100 Million Healthier Lives — an initiative dedicated to transforming the way the world thinks and acts to improve health — wants to send you to its spring meeting in Orlando, Florida.
Your challenge: Tell us how you would improve health equity in 140 characters or fewer.
What you could win: free travel and accommodations to attend the 100 Million Healthier Lives Spring Gathering on March 19 in Orlando, Florida. You’ll join communities from around the United States that are using improvement science to reduce inequities and improve community health as they come together to build relationships and share learning.
Rules and Prizes
In 140 characters or fewer, share your vision for how to improve health equity. Tweet @IHIOpenSchool or tag “IHI Open School for Health Professions” on Facebook. (Not on social media? Email your idea to firstname.lastname@example.org.) Respond by March 1 to be considered.
Winners will be notified by Friday, March 4. Contest winners will receive up to $1,000 to cover travel and lodging expenses to attend the free events hosted by 100 Million Healthier Lives in Orlando, Florida, at the Marriott World Center on Saturday and Sunday, March 19–20.

- This contest is for full- or part-time students only.
- Additional hotel nights beyond Saturday and Sunday, March 19 and 20, are not covered; nor are incidentals related to travel.
