Fees & Scholarships

Our top priority is the safety and well-being of our staff and the global health and health care community we serve, and due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we have decided to cancel the face-to-face Summit program and offer it virtually later this year. We know many lives are being impacted and disrupted by COVID-19, and we are so grateful for our health care professionals.

Current Attendees
If you wish to keep your enrollment and apply your registration fee to the virtual offering later this year, you do not need to do anything at this time. We are currently looking into dates for Fall 2020 and will reach out directly to everyone once we have determined the timing. We will have these dates confirmed soon and will be in touch as soon as possible.

If you would like to cancel your registration for the Summit, you can do so and we will issue a full refund. If you wish to do so immediately, please contact info@ihi.org or call us at 617-301-4800 and our Customer Experience team will assist you.

Payment Details      

  • Payments: Full payment is due before the start of the program. If payment in full is not received within one day prior to the program start date, IHI will notify you and cancel your registration.
    • Credit card payments: Enter your credit card information online during the registration process, or contact the IHI Customer Experience Department to process payment over the phone.
    • Check payments: Please mail a copy of the invoice with your check made payable to IHI.
  • Cancellations: For cancellations made within one day before the start of the program: Registration fees are fully refundable if a written request is received by info@ihi.org on or before one day before the start of the program. 

    IHI may, in its discretion, cancel, postpone, or otherwise modify this event at any time, with or without notice. If IHI does so and as a result, a registrant is unable to participate in the event, IHI will refund the registration fee. The registrant, however, will remain responsible for other costs (such as travel and lodging) the registrant incurs in connection with the event, and IHI will not refund the registrant, nor otherwise be responsible for, such costs. Registrants should proceed accordingly and consider travel/lodging cancellation policies — as well as purchasing travel insurance — when incurring such costs. IHI asks registrants to take into consideration the currently evolving situation and advisories related to Coronavirus before incurring travel, lodging, and other costs related to this event.
  • Refunds: IHI will issue all refunds in the original payment type (credit card or check) within 30 days. Registrations received one day before the start of the program are not refundable.
  • Substitutions: One attendee may be substituted f​or another at any time by calling the IHI Customer Experience Department or emailing info@ihi.org.

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied that your attendance in an IHI educational program is a valuable experience, IHI will gladly refund your registration fee per the policies noted above. Please note that due to unforeseeable circumstances, last-minute changes in program titles, speakers, or presentations may be unavoidable.
