Speaking Proposals: Closed for 2019

If you have an improvement story that is worth sharing, there is no better place than the IHI National Forum to share it. The submission period has closed for the 2019 edition of the IHI National Forum. Click here to be notified when the call for proposals opens for the 2020 edition.

The IHI National Forum team is especially interested in receiving proposals on the following topics:

Tips for Proposal Preparation

  • Look through last year’s National Forum sessions to see the caliber of the content at this conference.
  • Use this template​ to help you prepare your proposal.
  • Submit a thoughtful, error-free description of your session.
    Include objectives that detail what attendees will learn from you.
  • Incorporate a patient as a co-presenter.
  • Offer a take-home tool or checklist for attendees to use upon return to their home organization.
  • Showcase how quality improvement methods have led to results for you and your team.
  • Look at these tips for addressing equity​ as part of your proposal, and ​​at this action verb list to help you formulate learning objectives​

Storyboard Proposals: Now Open

Storyboards are one of the best ways for you to demonstrate your knowledge and to meet fellow improvement science experts.

Accepted storyboards will be displayed in a designated area of the Exhibition Hall, which will be open to attendees during key periods of the IHI National Forum.​​

The deadline for submitting a storyboard for display at the National Forum is September 6, 2019 for General Storyboards, and September 13, 2019 for Students.
