Scholarship and Discounts

Group Rates
Groups of 5 or more receive 15% off per person for the Virtual or In-Person General Conference days (note: the group discount for the general conference is off the regular rate of $1,350 per person).

IHI Member Rates
IHI Premium Members receive 10% and IHI Premium Plus Members receive 15% off for the Virtual or In-Person General Conference days. Learn more about IHI Membership.

IHI is pleased to offer a limited amount of funding for scholarships and special discounts. Please note that scholarships and special discounts are available to assist with program enrollment costs ONLY and are not applicable for travel, food, or accommodation costs associated with attending the program.
Special Discounts
There are a limited number of 25% and 50% discounts for employees of:

  • Independent, United States Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) that are not affiliated with a hospital or health system
  • Critical Access Hospitals
  • Independent practices with fewer than 20 physicians
  • Hospitals with fewer than 50 beds
  • Members of America's Essential Hospitals (formerly NAPH)
  • 501(c)(3) organization with a defined operating budget of less than $5 million, serving community-based populations

To apply for scholarships and special discounts, complete the online Scholarship and Special Discount Application at least three weeks before the start of the program.

Payment Details

  • ​Payments: Full payment is due before the start of the program. If payment in full is not received within one day prior to the program start date, IHI will notify you and cancel your registration.
    • Credit card payments: Enter your credit card information online during the registration process, or contact the IHI Customer Experience Department to process payment over the phone.
    • Check payments: Please mail a copy of the invoice with your check made payable to IHI.
  • Cancelations: For cancelations made within one day before the start of the program: Registration fees are fully refundable if a written request is received by info@ihi.org on or before one day before the start of the program.

    IHI may, in its discretion, cancel, postpone, or otherwise modify this event at any time, with or without notice. If IHI does so and as a result, a registrant is unable to participate in the event, IHI will refund the registration fee. ​
  • Refunds: IHI will issue all refunds in the original payment type (credit card or check) within 30 days. Registrations received one day before the start of the program are not refundable.
  • Substitutions: One attendee may be substituted for another at any time by calling the IHI Customer Experience Department or emailing info@ihi.org​.

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied that your attendance in an IHI educational program is a valuable experience, IHI will gladly refund your registration fee per the policies noted above. Please note that due to unforeseeable circumstances, last-minute changes in program titles, speakers, or presentations may be unavoidable.
