One of the world’s best players in the air, she is currently the #1 all-time leading scorer in international socc​​er history with 160 career goals. The USA’s emotional leader was her country’s leading scorer in the past two Women’s World Cup tournaments, and the 2004 and 2012 Olympics. (She missed Beijing 2008 due to a broken leg.) Her ability to wear down defenses with her physical play, aerial game and hard running has long been a key to the USA’s success. Abby is a true leader on and off the field, an ambassador for Right to Play and USAID among other organizations. She is the youngest of 7 children and claims she got her “toughness” from her 4 older brothers.

Available continuing education credits for 2019 IHI National Forum are currently under evaluation and expected in October 2019. The 2018 IHI National Forum offered a maximum of 20.25 credits for physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and certified professionals in health care quality.​
