Satellite Broadcast: Continuing Education

In support of improving patient care, the Institute for Healthcare Improvement is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), and the National Association for Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) to provide continuing education for the health care team. 
The maximum number of credit hours available for the satellite broadcast is 10.25 hours.
This program is approved by the National Association of Social Workers (Approval # 886367066-4155) for 10 Social Worker continuing education contact hours.
Participants in the 26th Annual National Forum on Quality Improvement in Health Care satellite broadcast will learn how to:
  • Recognize habits that support good care and apply the basic principles for improving them.
  • Define ways to reduce suffering and improve health.
  • Develop an understanding of how to transform an organization.
  • Identify elements for creating a culture of change that will lead to continuous improvement.
In order to be eligible for a continuing education certificate, attendees must complete the online evaluation within 30 days of the continuing education activity. After this period, you will be unable to receive a certificate.
