An opportunity for Chapters to come together, share their successes, challenges, and generate ideas for the new year.  The event also gives Chapter members the opportunity to meet other leaders in the community, share best practices, and build new skill sets.

 "Student Track" of Sessions

For students new to quality improvement or new to the National Forum, we’ve selected sessions that will accelerate your capacity for quality improvement.
Full session descriptions are coming soon.  Meanwhile, here's a sneak preview of the sessions in the student track.
*We recommend that you take all the IHI Open School courses before attending the Forum.  They're free, and they'll give you a foundation in basic improvement concepts.

 Networking Opportunities

  • Professional―In addition to the learning you’ll be exposed to and individuals you’ll meet during the sessions, National Forum mentors will facilitate a small group daily debrief to help students reflect on their experiences.
  • Social―Attend receptions and other student-centered National Forum events to establish connections with other attendees.
  • VirtualDuring and after the Forum, IHI’s Open School for Health Professions initiative and Facebook Community can help you stay connected.
  • Moderate a National Forum session, which involves introducing the speaker and managing time and Q&A.
