Airport-to-Hotel Transport

Auckland airport is a 45-minute drive by bus, car, or taxi from SKYCITY. More information about travel to and from the Auckland airport and SKYCITY is available on the SKYCITY website.


By Shuttle:
  • Airbus Express operates buses to and from the airport 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Between 7 AM – 7 PM it departs every 10 minutes on weekdays and every 15 minutes on weekends (for departures outside these hours, please refer to the Airbus Express website).  Tickets cost NZ $16 and be pre-purchased online at, from the Airbus ticket kiosk at the airport, or direct from the driver.
  • Airport shuttles are also available. They are approximately NZ $33 for one person from the airport and approximately NZ $28 from the SKYCITY Hotel to the airport.
By Taxi:
Taxis are located outside the domestic and international terminals at the Auckland airport and cost approximately NZ$75 into the city.
By Car:
If you are travelling by car, take the Southern Motorway north, exit at Nelson Street and follow the signs directly to SKYCITY.
