Pre-Conference Student and Faculty Orientation Session

  • Date: Wed 19th September 2012 from 2-5pm
  • Location: Auckland University (UoA) Bldg 502, Faculty of Medical & Health Science Foyer
  • Purpose of this event: To discuss how students can get involved to help improve healthcare quality and safety
  • Brief outline of the day: Student presentations, an introduction to the IHI Open School, and an interactive discussion on what students can do to get involved in quality and safety
  • Special guests: international and local health care quality and safety champions
  • RSVP to Jerome Ng at j.ng@auckland.ac.nz before Fri 14th September by 5pm on a first come first serve basis
  • Who should attend:
    • Students (both undergraduates and postgraduates)
    • Anyone who wants to know more about how students can get involved in healthcare quality and safety
    • Students attending the APAC Forum on Quality Improvement in Healthcare 20-21st September 2012
