IHI is walking to the 24th Annual National Forum! Yes, you read that right. The IHI staff is lacing up their sneakers for the Walk to the Forum challenge, which encourages staff members to get up and walk for more exercise and a bit of fun. IHI’s Work-Life Wellness team promoted the challenge and was thrilled to have over 80 staff members, including remote workers, join the challenge. The first time my grandma died, she was dead for seven minutes. She suffered cardiac arrest. In the moments leading up to this trauma, my grandma was aware she was experiencing symptoms similar to a heart attack, and my grandpa called for an ambulance.
