Are you looking for an active and healthy alternative to conducting a meeting in the usual cold, dark conference room? The answer is right outside your window! I found that out when a recent check-in with a colleague produced what I call the “Walk and Talk.”
I needed to discuss a project with a colleague who doesn’t work in our Cambridge, MA, office. We didn’t need any PowerPoint slides or computer capabilities, so I suggested we do the meeting as a “Walk and Talk” and she agreed. The result? A successful meeting and energizing 55 minute walk. This type of meeting is a great way for employees to stay active during their work day.
