The Luton and Dunstable Hospital NHS Trust created this pamphlet to educate and communicate with all clinical staff about the implementation of the Patient Safety Leadership WalkRounds^™ process as part of our activities to support front-line staff in raising patient safety issues with the executive team.

We want to increase the awareness of safety issues among all clinicians and make safety a priority for senior leaders by spending a dedicated time promoting a safety culture.

The pamphlet includes detailed information describing the WalkRounds process, who is involved, and the aims of the initiative.

The Luton and Dunstable Hospital NHS Trust is part of the Safer Patients Initiative. Funded by The Health Foundation, an independent charity based in London, the initiative is designed to improve the quality and safety of health care in the UK by encouraging the uptake and spread of best practices.
