This poster describes a study done at Northeast Florida State Hospital (Macclenny, Florida, USA) regarding falls within their hospital. The objective was to test two groups of residents, those with and those without a recorded history of falls in the previous 12 months. The study demonstrated that the most significant difference between those who had falls and those who did not was the number of psychotropic medications prescribed.
