The Informed Patient Institute (IPI) is an independent, nonprofit organization that rates websites that provide safety and quality performance information about health care providers and professionals. IPI does not rate individual health facilities or practitioners, but they tell consumers who does. IPI also advocates for making more useful health care quality information available to consumers.
