The Capacity and Demand Diagnostic Template was created by the IHI and faculty working with teams in the Improving Access and Flow in Specialty Practices and Outpatient Settings Innovation Community. The tool is used to measure capacity (providers, exam rooms, appointments, etc.) versus demand of selected specialty practices or services.
