Every office practice has demand placed on it, both external and internal. Determining the amount of both types of demand, per provider, is the first step in determining the total demand on the practice. 

Count the instances of external and internal demand per provider. External demand includes appointment requests (regardless of the day appointed), requests for referrals, calls, walk-ins, deflections, or any other portal of entry. Internal demand includes returns booked today, no matter where they end up in the schedule.
