Care Team Development and Staff Satisfaction


Definition

Number of unit staff completing the survey divided by the number of staff who answered as “top box” on a 5-point Likert scale, multiplied by 100 to get percentage.


Goal

The goal is 95 percent of unit staff who give a "top box" rating.


Data Collection Plan

Sample should include all staff assigned to the unit and physicians who admit most of their patients to that unit. Survey should be completed and data collected on a semi-annual basis.
