Background
Directors/managers who know what changes need to occur in their work areas to support patient safety activities often need to ask for additional financial resources. To obtain those resources a business plan document may be needed to state the case. Since those individuals who are requesting these resources often have a clinical background, the concepts of writing and presenting a business plan document may seem intimidating or overwhelming. This tool was developed to assist and guide them in that process.
