The Spread Planner has seven sections, corresponding to each of the components of the Framework for Spread. Each section contains specific questions that prompt those individuals responsible for spread to consider the actions needed to most effectively guide the spread process. For example, under Leadership, the questions include:

• Is improvement in this area a key strategic initiative within the organization?
• Who is the executive(s) responsible for the spread?
• Who is the person or team who will manage the day-to-day spread activities?
• Are the goals and incentives for the organization aligned with the new system?
