These materials, from two webconference calls hosted by the National Quality Center, present an introduction to key quality improvement principles and HIV/AIDS Bureau expectations on quality improvement. The calls cover material for Part A&B Ryan White Program Grantes (January 11th), and Parts C&D Grantees (February 8th).
The sessions target individuals who are new to quality improvement, as well as those who want a refresher on how to apply key uality improvement concepts to their HIV program.
Learning objectives for the calls include:
- Understand key concepts of quality improvement, as well as HAB expectations on quality management/quality improvement
- Learn to describe and use quality improvement models including the Model for Improvement, the HAB 9-Step Model and the HIVQUAL Model
- Know where to access existing resources on quality improvement and how to request technical assistance (TA) on quality improvement from TA resources, such as the National Quality Center and the National HIVQUAL Project.
