These presentations, from the National Quality Center's (NQC) June 5, 2006, national quality improvement technical assistance (TA) webconference, discuss the key elements of a quality management plan and share lessons learned by organizations who have implemented such plans.
A streaming audio recording of the call is also available.
A quality management plan defines a quality program's strategic direction and serves as a blueprint for quality initiatives. The plan describes the purpose of the quality program, the infrastructure that supports quality initiatives, and the quality goals and improvement projects for the upcoming year.
Although the call was held for an audience of Title III and Title IV Ryan White CARE Act grantees, organizations not receiving Ryan White CARE Act funding will also find this information helpful in planning and updating their quality management plans.
The four presentations from the call, available here, include
- Welcome Slides and Agenda
- How to Develop and Update a Quality Management Plan
- Creating a Quality Management Plan - Partnership Health Center
