Eugene Litvak, PhD, Professor, Boston University School of Management, is a co-founder and director of the Program for the Management of Variability in Health Care Delivery at the Boston University Health Policy Institute. He also teaches an operations management course as an Adjunct Professor of Operations Management in the Department of Health Policy and Management, Harvard School of Public Health. Dr. Litvak is also Chairman and Chief Scientist of PatientFlow Technology, Inc. Prior to arriving in the US, he served as chief of the Operations Management Group at the Computing Center in Kiev, Ukraine. He is an author of more than 60 publications, frequently presents at national and international meetings, and is faculty for the Institute for Healthcare Improvement.

Peter I. Lachman, MD, MPH, is a consultant pediatrician at the Royal Free Hospital and Great Ormond Street Hospital in London, UK, where he leads quality improvement. He was a 2005-06 Health Foundation Quality Improvement Fellow at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement.

Jason Leitch, DDS, is a clinical lecturer in oral surgery at the University of Glasgow Dental Hospital and School in Scotland. He was a 2005-06 Health Foundation Quality Improvement Fellow at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement.
