What are the benefits of Passport membership?
The Passport program provides access to all of the remote learning IHI has to offer in support of the Improvement Map. This support falls into three categories:
- Unlimited access to Expeditions. These are topic-specific, results-focused programs designed to help frontline teams make rapid improvement in a key component of the Improvement Map. They provide intensive virtual support lasting two to four months. Participating teams work with expert faculty, who serve as guides, and with other organizations that are taking on the same challenge at the same time.
IHI will launch one Expedition (on average) per month. As a Passport member, your organization and its staff can join as many Expeditions during your membership as you choose. To see a list of upcoming Expeditions, please go to the Schedule Tab.
- Exclusive on-demand tools and resources. Accessible only to Passport members, these resources (including podcasts, videos, and presentation materials) are available to you and all your organization's staff at your convenience. - Members-only activities/opportunities, including:
- Quarterly calls on execution and improvement
- Access to faculty contact information for general questions
- Work and affinity groups led by IHI partners on areas of interest (e.g., rural hospitals)
- Input on new Expedition topics
- Monthly newsletter
- Launch kit for engaging staff in the program
- Participation in periodic feedback sessions/member focus groups
- Special interest breakfast at the National Forum
- Banner or certificate to post in your facility
As a Passport member, your hospital and all its staff have access to an unparalleled depth of resources and programming that support your improvement work. Once the Improvement Map has helped you chart a course that aligns with your organization’s priorities, your Passport membership helps support your frontline teams as they improve.
What is the cost of membership?
The fee for Passport membership is $5,000 per year. Enrollment is open at any time during the calendar year.
The following discounts are available:
- Hospitals with fewer than 50 beds and members of the National Association of Public Hospitals are eligible to receive a discounted rate of $2,500 per year.
- Hospital systems that enroll 5 or more hospitals are eligible to receive a 15% discounted rate of $4,250 for each membership.
- Members of IHI's IMPACT Leadership Community are eligible to receive a 15% discounted rate of $4,250 for each membership.
